Horses

Currently, we have 12 horses in residence. Each horse has suffered abuse, either physically or mentally, and each has an unique story of survival and rehabilitation.

We rehabilitate our rescued horses to overcome their fears and many physiological constraints using natural horsemanship, liberty/friendship training and gentling, and if possible we encourage them to be ridden bit less. We also train in western riding and  in the classic style. We aspire to give each horse a fulfilling quality of life – a horse’s life in a free ranging herd. We give our rescued herd a home for life, we do not re-home our horses.
