To ensure the safety and welfare of your dog, our resident rescue animals and other boarded dogs, the following information and agreement must be completed and signed before your dog is accepted for boarding.

BOARDING DETAILS

The full boarding fee must be paid in accordance with the agreed booking terms. Boarding fees remain payable for the entire period booked, including where the owner collects the dog early, unless otherwise agreed in writing by MoonAcre Sanctuary. MoonAcre Sanctuary reserves the right to refuse boarding where payment has not been received as agreed.

Vaccination Requirements

For the health and safety of all animals at MoonAcre Sanctuary, dogs must have current vaccinations appropriate for their age and circumstances. The owner must provide valid vaccination records before boarding. This should include protection against the diseases required under current veterinary and boarding guidance, including where appropriate:

  • Canine parvovirus
  • Canine distemper
  • Canine adenovirus/infectious canine hepatitis
  • Leptospirosis
  • Other relevant diseases

Primary vaccination courses must have been completed for the appropriate period before boarding.

If vaccination records cannot be provided, or vaccinations are found to be out of date, MoonAcre Sanctuary reserves the right to refuse boarding or, where appropriate and with the owner’s consent, arrange the necessary veterinary treatment. Any resulting veterinary costs will be payable by the owner.

WORMING, FLEA & PARASITE TREATMENT

All dogs must arrive having received appropriate and up-to-date preventative treatment against internal and external parasites.
