Puppies

Could you offer one of our puppies a forever home?

They are still far too young to leave MoonAcre, but over the coming weeks we will watch them grow, learn and develop their own little personalities. As they become more independent, we’ll spend time getting to know each puppy as an individual – their characters, confidence levels, energy, likes and dislikes – so that we can help find the right home for each of them.

They will remain safely at MoonAcre with their mum and siblings while they are young. During this time, they will receive the care, socialisation and veterinary attention they need, including their vaccinations and other preparation for their future journeys.

Finding the right forever home

As they grow, we will be able to tell prospective adopters more about each puppy and help match them with the family that suits them best.

Our adoption process includes an application and video home check, and we take the time to make sure every match is right for both the puppy and their new family.

When can they travel?

The puppies are not ready to travel yet. They will remain at MoonAcre until they are old enough and have completed all the necessary veterinary preparation for international travel.

We expect them to be ready for their new lives in the new year, subject to their individual development and completion of all required veterinary requirements.

Bobby

Bobby is a lovely young man who has been patiently waiting for the chance to find a family of his own.

Bobby has a congenital hip condition, meaning he was born with an issue affecting his hips. While this is part of his story, it doesn’t take away from his worth or his ability to enjoy life.

Life at a busy sanctuary is very different from having a home and family of your own. We would love to see Bobby have the opportunity to experience the comfort, security and individual attention that comes with being someone’s special dog.

Finding the right home for Bobby will mean taking his individual needs into consideration and making sure he has the appropriate veterinary care and support. We are happy to discuss his condition and any ongoing requirements with potential adopters.

What Bobby needs most is someone who will look beyond the things that make him different and recognise the loving companion he could be.

Margot

Margot is a beautiful young girl with a sweet, friendly nature and a lovely zest for life.

Margot is still very much a puppy and is at the perfect age to begin her life with a family of her own. She is Arlo’s sister, but while Arlo is a little more timid, Margot is the more confident and outgoing of the two.

Margot loves people and enjoys being part of the action. She is friendly, playful and curious, happily exploring the world around her and making the most of every opportunity to have fun.

She also loves other dogs and particularly enjoys playing with her canine friends. Her sociable nature means she thrives on companionship and would love a family who can give her plenty of opportunities for play, enrichment and adventure.

Like any young dog, Margot will need a family who understands that she is still learning and growing. She would benefit from continued positive training, patience and plenty of opportunities to experience new things. In return, she has all the makings of a wonderful lifelong companion.

We would love to see Margot grow up in a home where she can experience everything a young dog should — adventures, playtime, learning, cuddles and the security of knowing she belongs.

Ruby

Ruby is a beautiful young brindle Belgian Malinois with a huge personality, an incredible spirit and a heart full of love.

At just 1 year old, Ruby is a wonderfully bouncy, friendly and confident girl who absolutely adores people. She is incredibly affectionate and loves attention, making friends with everyone she meets. Her extroverted personality means she rarely misses an opportunity to say hello!

Ruby came to MoonAcre Sanctuary following a medical issue affecting her front leg. After extensive veterinary assessment, it was sadly confirmed that there was no feeling or function remaining in the leg. In May 2026, Ruby underwent an amputation to give her the best chance of living a comfortable, pain-free life.

She has adapted brilliantly to life on three legs and is thriving. Her missing leg hasn’t changed her outlook on life one bit. She remains playful, energetic and full of enthusiasm, approaching each day with the same happy, bouncy personality she has always had.

As she continues to build her strength and confidence, we are looking for a special home that understands her needs and will give her the patience, encouragement and love she deserves. In return, Ruby will bring an enormous amount of joy, loyalty and personality into your life.
