Ruby is a beautiful young Belgian Malinois with a huge personality and an incredible spirit. At just 1 year old, she is affectionate, confident, full of energy, and absolutely adores people.
Ruby came to MoonAcre Sanctuary due to ongoing medical issues affecting her front leg. After extensive specialist examinations, it was sadly confirmed that there was no feeling or function remaining in the leg, and in May 2026 Ruby underwent a front leg amputation.
Despite everything she has been through, Ruby has not let this slow her down. She remains a happy, bouncy girl who thrives on affection, attention, and human companionship. Her loving nature shines through in everything she does, and everyone who meets her falls for her instantly.
Ruby is now recovering well and adapting brilliantly to life on three legs. She continues to show incredible resilience and enthusiasm every single day.
Once Ruby has fully completed her recovery and rehabilitation, she will be searching for the forever home she truly deserves – one filled with patience, understanding, and plenty of love. We know there is someone special out there for this incredible girl.
