A major benefit of Sofa Hounds is the wealth of experience behind the service. Rochelle has extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities and backgrounds, including dogs with ongoing and complex health needs.
Through her years of working with rescue dogs and running MoonAcre Sanctuary, Rochelle is experienced and confident in providing additional care when required, including administering medication and supporting dogs with specific medical or care requirements.
Whether your dog is energetic, nervous, elderly, recovering from illness or simply loves a sofa and a cuddle, they will receive individual, attentive care tailored to their needs.

Bobby
Bobby is a lovely young man who has been patiently waiting for the chance to find a family of his own.
Bobby has a congenital hip condition, meaning he was born with an issue affecting his hips. While this is part of his story, it doesn’t take away from his worth or his ability to enjoy life.
Life at a busy sanctuary is very different from having a home and family of your own. We would love to see Bobby have the opportunity to experience the comfort, security and individual attention that comes with being someone’s special dog.
Finding the right home for Bobby will mean taking his individual needs into consideration and making sure he has the appropriate veterinary care and support. We are happy to discuss his condition and any ongoing requirements with potential adopters.
What Bobby needs most is someone who will look beyond the things that make him different and recognise the loving companion he could be.

Meet 𝗦𝗮𝗺 & 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 🐾
These beautiful 9-year-old sisters are looking for a forever home 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.
𝗦𝗮𝗺 is the more extroverted of the two — friendly, confident, and always ready to say hello. 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮, with her stunning blue eyes, is a little more shy at first but incredibly sweet once she feels safe. Together, they are the perfect balance and bring out the best in each other.
Through no fault of their own, 𝗦𝗮𝗺 and 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 have found themselves in need of a new home after their family relocated. Now, they’re patiently waiting for someone to give them the love they deserve.
Both girls are neutered and vaccinated, and ready to start their next chapter.
