Be My Valentine? Meet Our Adoptable Dogs

This Valentine’s season, love is waiting at MoonAcre Sanctuary. ❤️

Arabella, Bella, Benbo, Buster, Ghost, Liam, Paris and Sam are all still searching for their forever homes. Each of them has their own unique personality, their own story, and so much love to give — they just need someone to give it to.

Whether you’re looking for a walking buddy, a couch companion, or a loyal best friend, one of these beautiful dogs could be the perfect match for you. They’ve been patiently waiting for a family to call their own. Maybe that family is yours.

If you’ve been thinking about adoption, now is the perfect time to open your heart and your home. Your forever friend might be waiting for you at MoonAcre.

Get in touch to learn more. Let’s find these wonderful dogs the loving homes they deserve.

Bella & Sam

Meet 𝗦𝗮𝗺 & 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 🐾

These beautiful 9-year-old sisters are looking for a forever home 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

𝗦𝗮𝗺 is the more extroverted of the two — friendly, confident, and always ready to say hello. 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮, with her stunning blue eyes, is a little more shy at first but incredibly sweet once she feels safe. Together, they are the perfect balance and bring out the best in each other.

Through no fault of their own, 𝗦𝗮𝗺 and 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 have found themselves in need of a new home after their family relocated. Now, they’re patiently waiting for someone to give them the love they deserve.

Both girls are neutered and vaccinated, and ready to start their next chapter.

Could you be the one to give these lovely sisters their happy ending?

Buster

Buster is a handsome, happy-go-lucky Lab cross. Once found as a stray, he has blossomed into an affectionate, loyal companion.

A recent obedience graduate, Buster has excellent recall and knows his cues. Confident, well-socialised, and adventurous. Buster would make the perfect sidekick for someone seeking a fun, loyal best friend.

♂️ Male
✅ Fully vaccinated
✅ Blood screened
✅ Neutered

Benbo

Benbo arrived at MoonAcre in March 2023 after being surrendered in very poor condition. He was heartbreakingly only 3 years old.

Benbo is blind — one eye has been removed and the other has limited vision but it doesn’t slow him down. What he lacks in sight, he makes up for in spirit. He’s confident, playful, and full of character, loving tug games, cheeky slipper steals, and snuggling under blankets.

Welcoming 2026

As we step into 2026, we want to take a moment to reflect on the year behind us and the hope ahead.

In 2025, we said some very emotional goodbyes – and hello to new beginnings – as six of our dogs went to live with their forever families, beginning a new chapter in their lives. Seeing them leave MoonAcre to start safe, loved lives of their own is the reason we do what we do. We are endlessly grateful to the families who opened their homes and hearts.

As the new year begins, our biggest wish is for the seven wonderful dogs currently waiting for their forever families to finally find them.
We hope that Liam, Luna, Arabella, Ghost, Benbo, Paris, and Buster will each get their chance at the love, stability, and companionship they deserve.

Thank you to everyone who has supported MoonAcre – through volunteering, adopting, donating, sharing our stories, or simply caring. Your kindness makes every rescue, every recovery, and every happy ending possible.

Here’s to 2026, to new beginnings, and to more lives changed for the better.
