Buster

Buster is a handsome, happy-go-lucky Lab cross. Once found as a stray, he has blossomed into an affectionate, loyal companion.

A recent obedience graduate, Buster has excellent recall and knows his cues. Confident, well-socialised, and adventurous. Buster would make the perfect sidekick for someone seeking a fun, loyal best friend.

✅ Fully vaccinated

Benbo

Benbo arrived at MoonAcre in March 2023 after being surrendered in very poor condition. He was heartbreakingly only 3 years old.

Benbo is blind — one eye has been removed and the other has limited vision but it doesn’t slow him down. What he lacks in sight, he makes up for in spirit. He’s confident, playful, and full of character, loving tug games, cheeky slipper steals, and snuggling under blankets.

 Male

Liam

Liam is our one-of-a-kind tri-paw pup and the only three-legged dog currently at MoonAcre Sanctuary.

He arrived in 2023 as a tiny puppy, born with a leg malformation. Liam needed his hind leg amputated, but you’d never know it from the way he moves! Confident, resilient, and full of spirit, he never lets anything slow him down. Watching him run, play, or simply bask in the sun is a reminder of how adaptable and joyful he truly is.

At MoonAcre, Liam has earned the title of “chill master.” He loves:

  • Snoozing in the sun
  • Gentle strolls
  • Loving cuddles

He’s wonderfully affectionate, enjoys the company of other dogs, and thrives in calm, steady surroundings. His gentle, loyal nature makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for a loving dog to share their home and heart.

♂️ Male
✅ Fully vaccinated
✅ Blood screened
✅ Neutered

Although he’s cherished at the sanctuary, Liam deserves a home of his own — a place filled with comfort, routine, and unconditional love. He’s waited long enough for the life every dog deserves, and he’s ready to be someone’s special boy forever.

Welcoming 2026

As we step into 2026, we want to take a moment to reflect on the year behind us and the hope ahead.

In 2025, we said some very emotional goodbyes – and hello to new beginnings – as six of our dogs went to live with their forever families, beginning a new chapter in their lives. Seeing them leave MoonAcre to start safe, loved lives of their own is the reason we do what we do. We are endlessly grateful to the families who opened their homes and hearts.

As the new year begins, our biggest wish is for the seven wonderful dogs currently waiting for their forever families to finally find them.
We hope that Liam, Luna, Arabella, Ghost, Benbo, Paris, and Buster will each get their chance at the love, stability, and companionship they deserve.

Thank you to everyone who has supported MoonAcre – through volunteering, adopting, donating, sharing our stories, or simply caring. Your kindness makes every rescue, every recovery, and every happy ending possible.

Here’s to 2026, to new beginnings, and to more lives changed for the better.
